We will play Encinitas Ranch GC on Saturday and Twin Oaks GC on Sunday. Lodging at Holiday Inn Express in Encinitas for one or two nights - your choice. Optional golf on Friday around noon for anyone who can get away early.

October 3-5 - 2nd Annual California Cup in Monterey, CA
Match Play competion against other California Chapters - we need a team of 12, or we can combine with another chapter (maybe Palm Springs). Two rounds of golf at Blackhorse/Bayonet Golf Course with buffet lunch plus reception buffet on Friday nite. Lodging at Monterey Beach Resort.

| THE CHAPTER CHAMPIONSHIP |

The Chapter Championship is our signature golf event of the year. Competitors in two divisions, stroke and four person scramble team, as well as just for fun participants are all invited.
For 2008, our event is scheduled on May 17th at Rio Hondo Golf Course in Downey.

| You must have an established USGA Handicap Index in order to compete in the Chapter Championship. To find out more about establishing and maintaining a handicap index, refer to the Handicap 101 document on our website or contact our Handicap Chair, Karen Krull, at handicap@ewgala.org.

in Myrtle Beach, SC, August 25-29, 2008, The “World Am”, formerly known as the Dupont WORLD AM, has been a staple of amateur competition for 21 years; offering all amateurs with a USGA handicap the chance to become World Champion. This tournament offers a four-round, 72-hole Tour-style competition on some of Myrtle Beach ’s most famed courses. in Sunriver, Oregon, September 27 to October 2, 2008. The “Pac Am” consists of a 54-hole, net, stroke play tournament with an 18-hole playoff for the top four players from each flight. All amateur golfers with an established USGA Handicap Index are eligible to compete.
